Understanding Your Metal
AK Jewelry pieces come in one of three finishes: Moissanite Collection — VVS moissanite hand-set in a 925 sterling silver base with 14K gold or white gold plating; 14K Gold Filled — a thick, bonded layer of real gold over a brass core, solid and tarnish-resistant, no stones; and 925 Sterling Silver — 92.5% pure silver, hypoallergenic, solid metal, no stones. Check each product page for the specific metal available for that piece.
Not sure what size to get? Start here.
You don't need a tape measure. Grab a strip of paper, ribbon, or string:
- Wrap it around your wrist (for bracelets) or the base of your neck where a necklace would sit (for chains) — snug but not tight.
- Mark where it overlaps with a pen.
- Lay it flat against any ruler or a printed piece of paper (standard printer paper is 8.5" wide) to get your length.
Already own a bracelet or necklace you like the fit of? Even easier — lay that flat and measure it end to end instead.
In a hurry or don't want to measure at all? Our most popular sizes are an 8" bracelet and a 20" chain — they fit the average adult comfortably. If you tend to run petite, size down one step; if you like jewelry a little looser, size up.
Chain Length Guide
| Length | How it sits |
|---|---|
| 16" | Snug around the neck, like a choker |
| 18" | Right at the collarbone |
| 20" | Just below the collarbone — our most popular length |
| 22" | Mid-chest |
| 24" | Lower chest — great for layering with a shorter chain |
Between lengths? Go longer — a slightly longer chain is easier to layer and looks better with pendants.
Bracelet Size Guide
| Your wrist measures | Get this size | Fit |
|---|---|---|
| 4.75" – 5.25" | 6" | Snug / petite |
| 5.25" – 5.75" | 6.5" | Snug |
| 5.75" – 6.25" | 7" | Comfortable |
| 6.25" – 6.75" | 7.5" | Comfortable, slightly loose |
| 6.75" – 7.25" | 8" | Loose — most popular |
| 7.25" – 7.75" | 8.5" | Roomy |
Not sure? Size up — a slightly looser bracelet is easier to wear and looks better on the wrist.
